    More than 12,000 families in Snohomish County are trapped in poverty, and currently face a network of services that are difficult to navigate with many confusing and complex roads to resources.

  • United Way's New, CORE Approach

    CORE: Creating Open Roads to Equity is a collaborative approach of United Way of Snohomish County that removes barriers to help families escape the traps of poverty. Unlike other approaches, CORE gives voice to the whole family, making it easier for children birth to age 8 and the adults in their lives to find success together.

CORE: Creating Open Roads to Equity is a collaborative approach of United Way of Snohomish County. CORE is about placing the whole family at the center of Collaboratives—groups of nonprofit, public, and private partners—working on long-term solutions for both children and the adults in their lives, together.
